Being a bone marrow donor can help save someone else’s life.
While we may think that a family member is the most suitable person to donate bone marrow, only 30% of patients have an available match within their family. This is why signing up to the international bone marrow registry may help a person whose only chance of survival is a bone marrow transplant.
To sign up you’ll be asked to have a health check and a saliva sample taken. You will then be contacted if you match with someone in need.
