A lower body lift is a procedure that tightens and sculpts sagging skin in numerous areas below the waistline. This includes the inner and outer thighs, hips, abdomen and buttocks. Not only can loose and sagging skin look bad, it can also restrict movement. This type of procedure is used by thousands of people every year to correct issues like this. Loose skin in these areas of the body typically results from a huge weight loss, either due to dieting or because of bariatric surgery. A lower body lift surgery will allow you to see the full results of your weight loss.

The costs for a treatment such as this will vary from patient to patient. We at Junomedical partner directly with the clinics and surgeons that perform this treatment to ensure that you receive the lowest prices available. You can expect total costs to run around 80 percent lower than the average found in the US and UK. These prices will also vary depending on the type of lower body lift you select.

How Does Lower Body Lift Surgery Work?

Anyone that receives a lower body lift will first be given a dose of anesthesia. After this, a series of incisions will be made around the lower portion of the body. The areas where these incisions will be made depends entirely on where the excess fat is going to be removed. One of the main ways in which an incisions is created is by making a circumferential incision around the entirety of the lower torso. A large amount of excess skin and fat can easily be removed from this incision. Other tissues can be re-positioned and tightened in a manner that ensures proper contour.

Many treatments will then make use of abdominal contouring or an inner thigh lift to further tighten the skin in these areas. Once the work has been completed, the incisions will be closed with deep sutures and the recovery process can begin. With this surgery, you may spend several days in the hospital and pain can linger. Nothing strenuous should be done for at least four weeks. Three weeks should be taken off from work and exercise shouldn't be resumed until six weeks have passed. This treatment is greatly recommended for anyone suffering from sagging skin under the waistline.
