Question:

What is the difference between liposuction and liposculpture?

Answer:

Liposuction and liposculpture are the same general procedure in that they both are used for weight loss. Liposuction will remove areas where larger amounts of fat have accumulated. However, liposculpture removes fat while defining areas of the body. A patient who is having liposuction on their stomach would have the fat removed from it. A patient undergoing liposculpture may have their stomach muscles tightened, in addition to the liposuction.
